U2 adds second Southern California showPublished November 10, 2009 02:11 PMComments and 0 Reactions printemailBy Jon Zahlaway / LiveDaily Senior WriterU2 [ tickets ], which recently revealed plans for another round of North American shows next summer, has tacked a second night onto the outings Southern California kick-off after posting a sell-out for the first night. The new show sets the stage for a two-night tour-opener June 6 and 7 at Anaheims Angel Stadium. Tickets for newly added June 7 performance go on sale Nov. 20, according to U2s website. So far, the bands itinerary comprises stops in a dozen cities throughout the US and Canada into mid-July. Details are shown below. In addition to the North American run, the band will embark on a new leg of European shows next year, beginning in August and extending through early October. Those dates can be found at U2s website. The 2010 shows–which also will include a late-summer/early fall European trek–will continue to feature the massive stage set the band has been using over this year, designed by long-time U2 associate Willie Williams in collaboration with architect Mark Fisher, an “in-the-round” design that seeks to afford every fan in attendance an unobstructed view of the band on stage. In late October, TheWrap.com reported that the “170-ton, $40 million, four-pronged stage [is] so enormous, its overhead so costly,” that the band still hadnt broken even on the tour, even after four months on the road in the US and elsewhere. With shows so far this year in 44 cities, the band has already played before more than three million fans in 2009, according to a press release.U2 is touring behind its 12th studio album, “No Line on the Horizon,” which surfaced in February. The set debuted at No. 1 in 30 countries, including the US, where it posted first-week sales of about 484,000 copies.Share TOUR DATEStour dates and ticketsJune 20106 – Anaheim, CA – Angel Stadium12 – Denver, CO – Invesco Field at Mile High16 – Oakland, CA – Oakland Coliseum20 – Seattle, WA – Qwest Field23 – Edmonton, Alberta – Commonwealth Stadium30 – East Lansing, MI – Spartan StadiumJuly 20103 – Toronto, Ontario – Rogers Centre6 – Chicago, IL – Soldier Field9 – Miami, FL – Land Shark Stadium12 – Philadelphia, PA – Lincoln Financial Field16 – Montreal, Quebec – Venue to be announced19 – East Rutherford, NJ – New Meadowlands Stadium

Pole Folder – Hate Myself (Sasha Remix) by KishCommunications
You really really reallllllllly can’t go wrong having the almighty SASHA remix your track
congrats to Pole Folder on this, looking forward to the album!
Pole Folder returns to the fold with his latest single from his La Tour label, Hate Myself. which has been remixed by the master himself, Sasha.
To those with even the most passing of interests in dance music, Sasha needs no introduction. Few of his peers can match his outstanding contributions driving electronic music forward or claim such a dedicated army of fans – both of which have ensured his consistent presence amongst the world’s Top 10 DJs for the past decade.
Sasha’s remix is true testament to his legendary status, lending his perfect ear to add a beauty and timelessness to Pole Folder’s already faultless original. Hate Myself is not your traditional peak-time hit, but with Sasha already testing it out on the road, it seems to be working as his current dancefloor destroyer!
In trademark Pole Folder style Hate Myself has a melancholic vibe, which Sasha then merges with an intense bassline, and intertwines noodly, scratchy overlays. The surreal chanting vocal staggers in and out, while the driving bassline, the sudden clanging, and the ominous, disjointed sounds all seem to merge to form a fluid cacophony of sound. Pole Folder says “Since I discovered Sasha through Northern Exposure 1 he has continued to blow me away… Having Sasha do a remix for La Tour is a dream come true for me.”
Hate Myself will be La Tour’s 5th release this year, and is the perfect single to cement their reputation as one of the best up and coming labels of 2009. Pole Folder is currently locked in his ‘80Hz’ studio writing his second album “The Helsinki Accord”, due for release winter 2009. This will feature the original of Hate Myself.

This is pretty awesome, I know my ears ring from time to time
Scientists are one step closer to understanding tinnitus, the condition in which your ears constantly hear a ringing, common with DJs and clubbers.Scientists at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit say they have pinpointed the area of the brain that is activated when a person suffers from tinnitus. Up until now it has always been thought the condition was caused by the ear. They hope it will allow more targeted therapies to be developed.2.3 million people in the UK have moderate or severe tinnitus. DJs who suffer from the condition include Tall Paul and Thomas from Daft Punk.

YouTube is continuing its push into the live video streaming realm, despite assurances it gave last year that it wouldn’t enter the space because it was too expensive.
The Google-owned video website has streamed the Outside Lands concert and an Obama press conference in recent months, but now it’s going to stream the Rose Bowl concert of one of the world’s most popular bands: U2
The live streaming event, which begins on Sunday, October 25th at 8:30 PM PT, will be available in 16 countries. The live feed will be available on the U2 Official Channel, and feature a live Twitter (Twitter) feed of chatter about the concert, exactly like what the company did for its full-length viewing of Taxi Driver.
The world’s largest video website, in a conference call earlier today, explained that it is seeking to experiment in live video. Clearly, YouTube (YouTube) sees some type of potential in this emerging market, as live video players Ustream (ustream), Justin.tv, and Livestream have started to prove the viability of this market.
A U2 concert is one of the best events to live stream, in our opinion, given the band’s massive popularity. The question we’re still asking is: What exactly is the company’s plan with live streaming? In the meantime, we want to know: will you watch the concert? Let us know in the comments.
